1903 #2 Thoughts
One of my main addictions other than TC Contenders is 1903/03A3's. I have a 1903 MK1 from 2/1920, with all the original parts. This past summer I picked up this Springfield Armory 1903. According to the serial number it's date of manufacture is 1912, the barrel is A/V 1-19, the thing that really caught my eye was the OGEK in a box cartouche. I know it's a low number Springfield but I really couldn't pass it up. I would appreciate any thoughts/ views.
Will try to add pics.

The problem is, the pictures are on my phone, I tried emailing them to myself so I could save them to myself tablet but that didn't work either. I did notice that on the tablet there are more options than that milsurps website on my phone.

Well, I somehow got the pictures added to my file upload manager but I can't drag on drop the pictures to the attachment box below the picture files. Maybe a tablet thing?

Looks like its been arsenal refinished. Replacement barrel. I believe its an '03a3 stock. Definitely a replacement. OGEK was Elmer Keith's inspection stamp, and would date to 1943-45. Cool rifle with some stories to tell, no doubt.

Yes, I should have mentioned about the 03a3 stock. I'm not sure about the bolt, I haven't had the chance to consult my books yet but it is stamped with a SA and above that is a R laying on its back?
