A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Shot a box of Hornadys 150gr. red tip through both the 23rd and 6th. First time I fired a T99 7.7 and they shoot sweet! The 6th series off hand,no rest at 50yds was grouping 4 to 5". Very smooth and fast to work the action. I like it better than the Enfields and Springfields . I would rate the T99 top of heap in WW2 bolt actions. And yes I have shot Mosins and Mausers.
