Some military knives with clip/bowie blades
SA-80 Bayonet, USMC Combat ,Mark3 Mod0 ,Buck 119 ,Pilots Survival
Technically the Buck 119 is not a military knife but it is in the photo and it was
used by so many military personnel.
The SA-80 bayonet is from a buddy who got it in trade and is a strange cast metal.
The USMC ,Mark3Mod0 and the pilots survival as well as an M3(not in photo) I got from a really good friend. The USMC also known as a K-BAR even though this particular one is an Ontario product.
It has a wicked edge from it's original owner(all his knives are razor sharp)and makes a great bush knife. Great 1095 steel and a fantastic leather sheath make this baby a classic for a good reason.
The Mark3Mod0 is like a modern 21st century K-BAR designed particularly for the Navy Seals which is why if has very stainproof 440C steel for it's blade. The handle is beautifully balanced and weighted. This is probably one of the finest military issue knives I have seen.
The Buck 119 is a great inexpensive fighter. It is 420HC with bucks excellent heat treat. It has a good leather sheath. Not an issue knife but a surprisingly good fighting knife you can get at a WallMart.
The Pilots Survival is another 1095 relative of the USMC but smaller and designed for downed pilots it makes a fantastic bush knife. Great size ,great steel that is easy to keep sharp and a good sheath with a stone.
This is a real sleeper and makes a great camp knife or a good second knife for a teen.
In answer to the obvious question ,Yes I do have a cadpat dining room set.
