Need help on this knife
Another knife from one of my VFW friends asking where it came from, looks to me like a Bolo knife. The scabbard is wood and has the pineapple on it. No other marking that we can find.

Aren't those called a parang? Phillipine cane knife? And for other things. My great uncle was a marine over there in the 20's and had to deal with those hucks or moros or whatever they were.

Apparently that one is called a Visayan Talibong and the pattern is only one of many. Sorry for the mis name first time around. And they use it for many things.
