Recently I ran across one of the many Mauser sporters made after and during the Wars. They basically look the same with some variables. This one was made in March 1944 at Zella-Mehlis in Germanyicon. It has nice but simple engraving, with double set triggers, a butter kinfe bolt handle, double claw scope mounts and the pine tree in heart "proof".It is signed buy C. Schuller but I can't find him in any reference. The project part is the reports that all the claw mounts were unique and finding a match will be impossible. I have seen a few scope/mount combos for sale but I think I will just have to drag the thing to gun shows. Is there further info on double claw mounts that I have missed?
