I think many who sell books are quitting because the new breed won't buy them. If it isn't a free download from the internet, they simply choose to remain ignorant I reckon. I'm in the same boat and won't be publishing books anymore except for the little booklet on the No.32 telescope which remains a good seller because the folks who actually want to use them need it!

I like to have my books for the ability to just open it and look through without the screen. I can't lose the hard drive from a bug or suffer from a power outage...can read by fireplace if need be...

I much prefer paper to electronic. Of course, I'm a dinosaur.
If you do any longer range shooting, I heartily recommend The Wind Book for Rifle Shooters by Linda Miller and Keith Cunningham. Excellent sale price.

Got mocked recently upon reaching for my business card file for a phone number.
I reminded the offending parties not to bother asking for my old school resources when the EMP hits.
Dinosaur indeed.
Ruled the world once. Perhaps we will have a second chance.

I like the books, some of mine with years of hand written notes in them. Added as new information comes in to play.
Some years back I bought Tales Of The Stake Out Squad (SOS) A book about the career of Jim Cirillo's time spent on a special NYPD Unit.
His favorite rifle.... The M1 Carbine. In this story you'll find a link to it as #8 10 Things You Didnt Know About The M1 C | The Daily Caller
I paid more for it, but it can now be bought through Paladin for $10.50 Jim Cirillo's Tales of the Stakeout Squad;by Paul Kirchner, lifelong competitive shooter; his distinguished career as a firearms trainer
This guy and 'most' of his fellow members had balls of steel. He had no problem in the moment of being judge, jury or executioner.

Yep the yuppies and nerds can scoff at books but when the powers out I just need a candle & a chair like BAR whilst they run around crying because their computers dead in the water.

I have used Paladin many times to get the info I was looking for. It saddens me they will no longer be around. I'll have to get the Boss to let me order as many as I can before they close.
As for reading books as opposed to the electronic screen, I'd rather read a book any day. Not only possible in low and no power conditions, to me it is also much more entertaining and relaxing.
