finnish question
Does anyone know what type of finnish was used on the 1950's era MK2's? On my rifles, it looks like very little finnish was used at all.....possibly boiled linseed oil?? Regards, Rick.

Raw, not boiled linseed oil.

RLO was used during WW2 as a substitute standard, but BLO was always the preferred finish. As far as I know, the brits reverted to BLO after the war.
