No SRS hit on U.S. Krag, #466026.
Talk about close, #466025, is an SRS hit. It was a model 1898 rifle that was destroyed on 05/17/1929, at the New Cumberland, Pa. by the Army Depot guards.

Mrbohanon's Krag, #466026, was assembled around July or August, 1903, as a model 1898 rifle.
It is way above the serial number range of the 5,002 model 1898 carbines that were made. Model 1898 carbines fall largely between the 117K to 125K serial number range, along with many rifles.
A new carbine configuration was approved in August, 1899. Carbines made after this were marked 'model 1899'.
