    Golden West???

While looking for a source of .308 bullets I found a site called Golden West ( http://www.goldenwestbrass.com/ ). Does anyone know anything about this company? I am thinking about placing an order for some of their .308 150gr. or 168gr. FMJ. Are these good bullets? Is this a good company with which to do business? Sincerely. BruceV

Goldenwestbrass is a small potatoes outfit in South El Monte, California. My dealings with them have been universally positive, so no fears there. My last batch of 168 gr FMJBT had a weight range of +/- 1.1 grain around an average of 168.22 grain and a standard deviation of .24 grain. The diameter varied from about .3083 to .3087. They seem to shoot a bit better than average milsurp pulls, but when selected by weight and passed through a .308 die they can be about as good as any out there.

Just noticed they raised their prices about 9% and they're still out of stock on just about everything.
