SLOW Avro Anson project in Oz
Bloke in my suburb has had an airframe wrapped in clear plastic under his house for years. I thought it may have been Wirraway or Boomerang tail bits I could see.
Finally caught up with him the other day; apparently it is a complete frame for an Anson fuselage. He has quite a few other bits for it. Several other enthusiasts are also storing quite a few parts.
Wings (mainplane), seem to be the big issue, due to their method of construction.
It will probably never fly again, but they plan to rebuild it as close to original as possible as a static display.
It also seems that they are onto a CAC Sabre, another rare beast.
Late edit / addition:
Here's one a bit further along in Victoria.
