Thought I'd show off a before/after of my No4. I finally obtained a No32 scope with genuine bracket. Sadly, the eye lense cell is damaged. The only other problem I see is a missing screw head securing the erector locking segment. BTW, I used Peter Laidlericon's book to guide me through my inspection. I'm certain many are more clever and adventurous than I, but I would not want to attempt any disassembly of one of these telescopes without his book at your side. I also finally found some time to remove the varnish that was on the stock and work in a new linseed oilicon finish. Does she look as beautiful to your eyes as she does to mine or am I just in love?
