Dagger Identification Help
Hello Forum.
I have a what appears to be a dagger. Overall, 18" while the blade is 14.5".
The blade is flat on one side and raised to form a triangular ridge running down the other side.
I don't see any makers marks but at the base of the blade before passing into the hilt there is a pattern of lines that form serrated ridges on the edge of the blade. Grip appears to be made of material like plastic but very thick and has wire wrapping on it. Don't know what to make of the pommel and tang.
Any help identifying this would be helpful.
Thanks.

It just looks like a european "hunting" knife to me. That was the knife that "real men" used to dispatch their game after it was cornered. The museum in Munich is full of them.
