Early FJA Rem stock
I noticed the stock on this rifle has the FJA stamp, stock bolts, and no relief cut for the A3 handguard ring. U.S. Remington Model 1903 : Bolt Action at GunBroker.com
I know that there is such an animal, but can't remember seeing one before. Isn't there a fairly thin line between when the FJA stamp was first used and when stock pins replaced the bolts? It is also my guess that this type of stock would be original to the serial # of the rifle.
Comments welcome.

I'ver been told that there were FJA stocks with stock bolts used on Remington M1903s for a relatively short time, then pins.
