    J.C. S. CO sling

Can anyone tell me the approximate date(s) of manufacture for a leather M1907 sling marked:

    J.C. S. CO

    C E B

Just below the hooks on the short leg of the sling is:

    L S

I could find no dates on the sling. It is rather heavily used but still in solid condition with very little crazing/cracking and quite supple.

Any help in dating this sling is greatly appreciated
