    Another 'Charnwood Enforcer'....

In one of the posts concerning the 'Charnwood Enforcers' mentioned at various points over the last few months, I think I mentioned that many years ago we picked up one of the barrelled receivers that they'd (Charnwood) acquired. It was U/S due to the depth of the milling on the side-wall. You can see daylight in one of the pictures, as the milling was so deep it cut through into the locking lug recess. According to the list there is no entry for this rifle as going out to anywhere (which fits in acquiring an unfinished barrelled action from C'wood). Nobs Dave & I ony wanted it because it had a new barrel on it!

You'd've thought whoever was doing the engraving might have noticed the hole in the side of the body......

Just thought the pix might be of curiosity interest to Enforcer fans.

Ha that's amazing - maybe it was a practice one! I also note it's taking the famed 'wonky' engraving to new levels of tilt!
