Ross rifle rear sight and mag
Hi fellas
been a long time since i posted on this site, everyone was helpful then and i am hoping again.
This post may be in the wrong forum, if so, my apologies, just let me know where to go or move it as you see fit.
Looking for some approximate values on some parts, first a Ross 1910 military aperture rear sight and mounting base and mag of the same rifle, both are in 90 plus condition and are functioning and complete. Looking for a range to give me some idea. I have seen auctioned sights for $250 that were very poor.
Thx for any help.

Hmmmmm, pricing for these parts is always difficult they don't come up for sale often. I think you are on the right track with the rear sight $300 seems to be a decent starting point based on prior sales. The other parts its very hard to say. The rear sight base is probably the more desirable part for someone looking to restore a rifle cause of how many were removed when they were sporterized. Best guess based on what I would have been willing to pay if I needed it would be $200. The magazine i would guess based again if I needed it $100. Hope this helps.

I agree with Patton12's estimate of value. I have a complete Ross MkIII in my collection but if I was restoring a sporterized Ross I would pay those prices.
