New Member - Waitng on my CMP Garand

    Hello follks,
I'm a new member here and excited about what I see. My order for a CMPicon Service Grade Springfiield Special is in so now I wait. BUT, can anyone help set my expectations on what I may get when my new toy arrives?
    Regards,
    C1

Will do Bill. Been shooting and reloading since I was 14, finally getting around to buying a Garandicon. BTW, I'm a former Antelope Valley Resident myself.

I was so happy with my 1st SA SG CMPicon garand I ordered a 2nd before I cleaned the 1st. Both are great. not sure about your area but finding a M1icon garand in what I would call rack grade or worse for under 1k is not going to happen. CMP the only sight unseen place I would purchase a gun from. You just cant expect better than the service grade criteria(you may get it) both mine where/are great shooters $$$ only stops me from buting another. If I stopped shooting for 8 months I could by another....shoot or buy shoot or buy......trigger finger wins for now I shoot.

HOLD THE SHOW!!!! I see you got a SPECIAL....how can you go wrong..............thats 2k at any dealer near me!
