    loading 1871/84 mauser help? needed

    Help required with cycling my 1871/84 mauser, trying to get the cartridges from the tube magazine into the barrel chamber try as I may I can’t get the cartridges the leave the magazine ,does any know how to get the cartridge into the barrel from the mag .
    is it me or is it the gun??

    your magazine cut-off switch is engaged to make it single shot mode. Move it in the opposite direction.
