An M1A1 paratrooper carbine, and an all matching LongBranch sniper. There should be a lot of money changing hands that day.

Anyone going? I sure like the looks of the FTR LSA SMLE for a shooter.

Thats not a bad price if it's correct. I have seen a Canadian scope and bracket and can go on ebay for close to that. How complete was it and what condition was it in?

Clive Law suggests a total of 1588 rifles were set up at Long Branch into snipers. But even at that number, they are about equal in numbers to the trials rifles set up into 4T configuration.
I talked to an ex-armourer who was at 202 WD tearing down Canadian Sniper rifles into parts back in the 60s. Makes them just a bit rarer.

I copied those original numbers from Advisory Panel Member Lee Enfield's comments and update in using Law's book.

Should they be changed? Perhaps I'm being confused by how the two numbers were presented in his analysis and comments, as I see both number sets there? Maybe send Lee Enfield a PM and let me know what you guys think?
Thanks ...
