canadian bren manufacturing locations
anyone know if it was just Long Branch and Inglis that made or assisted in the manufacturing process of the bren? I know CAL (long branch) made a few in its day after the war mostly experimental units but was there any other facilities in ontario that assisted?

The real answer is that zillions of other manufacturers assisted in the manufacturing processes of/for Bren guns. I can't assist in exactly which of them were close to Toronto but I bet some of the Canadians can tell you

Inglis and Longbranch
My grandfather (front row left, looking at picture) on course with Longbranch hardware as well as the Inglis Bren and Boys Mk1* out front.
Not an answer, but a decent photo with a few of the Inglis, Longbranch products. Even a No4 against the wall on the right.
