    MB GPW help

I've realized that my plan of someday having a WWII jeep is not going to happen. Some years ago I acquired a complete original grill, (stamped sheet metal 9 slots) pretty much complete with headlights, buckets and the hinging brackets all still together. So I decided it should go.
I have no clue what it's worth and can't find another one for sale to compare. I see reproductions (just the grill) for about $240.00 shipped, but not originals with all the other parts. Any ideas? I have a local interested but he won't throw a price out.
    Thanks,

Simple........ Put it on that auction site. That's what it's worth to someone!

Are they still knocking out the "clones" in the Philippines?

More than a couple of local restorations around here were completed using bits and pieces from that source.

Do you want 100% "original", a "good, representative" item or a working vehicle with a few "interesting" features?

And a "Happy Hiroshima Day" to one and all!

You might PM Bill Hollinger, he knows MB's and probably could tell you what a fair price might be. - Bob

    Thanks guys,
I don't see a script F on it so assume its an MB grill but not sure where to look. An odd note is that the original paint color was a desert tan. It's been painted over since, but I did find out that some were.
    Thanks again,

It may be a ACM composite grill so wouldn't be marked and could be used on an MB or GPW. An early grill without the notch in the top centre of the grill (To clear the centre seam of the hood) would be worth more.
