Help identify scope

At first glance this looked like a Mossberg .22 scope but after examining it a little closer I'm not so sure-it may not even be a rifle scope. 14" x 3/4" brass tube, aluminum mounts and a military looking olive drab finish. The front mount is rigidly fixed and keyed to the tube so I'm guessing whatever base it clamps to must be able to pivot a bit. Printed on the tube is "TELESCOPIC SIGHT MC-325-A". Any ideas?
