Their 1911's are FANTABULOUS! I have a couple in 45 ACP. I do not believe you can beat them for the price. I recently sent one to their armorer in Nevada. He mounted Trijicons and worked the action. He even put a 3lb trigger job on it. It toally rocks now. Buy one and you will never regret it. BTW, the cheapest I have found is centerfiresyatems.com.

I found one of the RIA 9mm GI models about 2 miles from the house . Swapped a minty Bulgarian Makarov and some money (2x+ ). Only one range session so far but I like the pistol a lot. Very accurate , runs well with 125RN , including the old Argentine stuff that was surplused for some good reasons. The pistol fed HP 100 % as well.
Thanks for the info.

Sarco is selling a builder kit that includes all parts but the frame.
And they have that as well for about $100 bucks but it has to be sent to a dealer and it is, I believe, built in the Phillippines like the RIA pistols. I have one I built a few years ago and it runs like a charm. Back then almost all parts but the frame were GI but I don't believe that is true now. You would have well under $400 in the gun even considering shipping unless your dealer is really high on transfer fees. The pistol will be in .45 ACP and I believe I read they are putting new barrels into them. The picture shows the safety tube and ejector installed. On mine the front sight was already installed and staked. You might ask about that if you are interested and don't have the tools. A friend got me started building the 1911 clones and before I knew it I had five. It is a lot of fun building one and you learn a lot about the gun as you go. Not difficult at all. Bill.
