    K98K bringback bring back?

This found me this weekend. All matching 43 BCD K98icon. Finish is good as is the bore.
very nice save the hack saw art. Anyone had any experence with the Numrich K98 stocks?
I would like to avoid evil-bay if possiable on the stock replacement. Lets see if I can bring her back.

P.S. At least partially inspired by Aragorns 99 Arisakaicon post.

Numrich offers both repo & original stocks. The repo would be a last resort. I would even concider splicing a foreand on if I could find one.
Has anyone familuar with the eagle mark without the swastika below. I have seen them peened on RCs. These do not appear to ever had them.

Ok she soon will be "brought back" to non bubba bobber status thanks to the kindness of a fellow forum member who hooked me up with an extra full stock. A real shame on this one as I believe it was original and unmolested before she was ravaged by bubbas hack saw. Looking at it "glass half full" I could not have afforded it had it not been clipped. After photos forthcoming as soon as I am able to reassemble.

Thanks to fellow member who was kind enough to part with a stock at a fair price here she is.
Many thanks to the fellow member for contacting me. I will still have an eye out for a correct stock as it seems fitting for such a correct rifle but I have bought a lottery ticket or two as well.

I just had to seperate the rifle from that hidious bobbed stock. Has anyone seen a method for camoflaging the RC serial numbers on a stock save sanding half the stock away?

Thanks for the help. I even got the releaf cuts made for the disks. The hardware was a tight fit up front. Lubed the front band to make it removable.
I was having trouble sleeping with it sitting around with the abbreviated woodwork.
