peruvian quillback bayo info help
I have a peruvian quillback for a '98 mauser? receved in a trade.
blade is only 15 inches????
was is cut down? (its not the lenght of my german quillback)
only marks are 'simson & Co, Suhl
and the peru coat of arms on the pommel.
what is the history? why did they chop it down?
worth anything in trade ect?????????

Appears to be cut down, they were the same lenght as the German bayonet and identical except for the peruvian mark.
