    Bedding a M17

    Fellas,
    can anyone provide me diagrams, picrures and or explanatory notes on how the M17 was bedded?Only the standard bedding needed.

    First, is the stock GI?? ...

    then check to see if the holes for the actions screws still have the reinforcing tubes inside them. Essentially, the 17 P14 were the first to use the "Pillars" bedding. The barrel was free of contact with stock until just before the stock ended wit the bayonet mount. HTH?
