Restored 1941 Long Branch No.4 Mk.1 - finally....
Here she is -
She was filthy when I got her, and the only original parts left after years of service were the barrel, receiver, bolt and trigger/sear/magazine release assembly. With some luck and lots of help (including from some forum members - thanks!!), she is at least not looking so crappy....

jmoore, the only part I was thinking of changing at some point was the rear hand guard, but only because the colour match isn't quite as good as the rest. It is a Long Branch rear hand guard. I suppose an LB foresight blade would be the only other thing.
I do have an LB stamped bayonet and scabbard to go with the rifle, but the mouth piece on the scabbard is stamped with the broad arrow and "N64", so the mouth piece or scabbard will need to be changed for a Long Branch one. I may also see about getting an oil bottle and pull through that would be correct for a 1941 Long Branch, but I have no idea what I would be looking for as regards manufacturers.
