Type 30 rifles
How often do type 30 rifles pop up on the collector market and what are some possible prices for examples in good condition? Good meaning most of the finish still present and the stock not being terribly banged up.

You may not want to take the bolt apart if you get one .

Not unless I absolutely have to. I know they are complex.

They are obviously not nearly as common as 38's or 99's. Those you can get at any gun show pretty easily. 30's tend to show up at auctions and gun shops more than shows and it may take months before you spot one. Prices can vary obviously but in general they seem to go for about the same as a similar condition 38 or 99, maybe a little more but they don't tend to break the bank. They are less common but not as sought after so it balances out the price a bit. Quite a few were converted to blank firing smooth bores so be wary of that when looking them over.
