Enfield Carbine (saving what was left)
Attachment 34649Attachment 34648
Just got my Enfields back from the machine shop. These are Ishapore that were cut down. Thought I would make a pair of carbines to use .32 ACP and 7.62 inserts or subsonic / light load .303. Next step is senting them off to be blued. the top is a BSA 1908 barreled reciever as reference. The carbine barrel end have machined FAL suppressors pinned on.

That will make a pair of interesting and unique carbines. I believe this type of project akin to building a street rod out of an old automobile that is unsalvageable (due to cost and or unavaliability of parts) as an original. I like your concept.
