    Languishing in Broome W.A

    Saw this in Broome the other week a Ferret in somewhat run down state, I think the water pipe gun is a bit optimistic I think they mounted a 30 cal.
    Also just a question did the Saracen armoured car was that a bigger brother to the Ferret in WWII and did it have 6 wheels.

    Saracen. Yep, 6 wheels but an APC with a turret and .30 Browning. Lots of running gear similar to the Saladin but not the Ferret. Not WW2 but mid 50's Saracen replaced the post war high topped APC half-tracks we used.

    Shame about that Ferret but a good start for someone. You become a poor Ferret owner by starting off as a RICH Ferret owner - so the saying goes!
