    Bren Mk I magazine? (ZB39)

    Attachment 62401Attachment 62402Attachment 62403

Bought some Bren magazines yesterday and I think one is a Mk 1? Right and top in the pictures.

Why does it have a different curvature?

World Wide Arms in the UKicon sells these. In batches of five. They all have 'WaffenAmpt' Inspection stamps on them also. The peculiar thing is, I am informed that they never had these marking when they arrived at their Premises................

There's a "dealer" not far from here who has a set of those die stamps. We watched him using them one Sunday morning before the show opened. He was open to us about what he was doing and making fun of the people who fall for it.

I haven't cleaned the cosmolineicon off this one yet. Haven't seen any markings yet.

Looks like it will take 10 or 11 rounds of 7.62x54R before the tip of the top round gets too low to clear the front of the magazine.
