Browning A-bolt .22
I dug this one out of moth balls since I can't shoot full power ammo due to recovering from surgery. Can't remember when I got it , back in the 80s I'd say but have had it for some years. I always liked this one. Nice sights, nice, good handling stock, good finish on metal... the stock is nice but the finish is a thick coat of that plastic looking, I guess acrylic stuff. We'll see if I can still hit anything though I'm looking forward to an eye exam & new glasses.
I'm told they haven't made this one for some time. I seem to think it was last made in 1985 if I recollect correctly. Anyhow, here's some pics.

The shiney stock finish is actually a 2 part epoxy finish. It can be troublesome to remove for re-finishing. You didn't say you were going to do that, I just mentioned it. They were manufactured from 1986 to 1996. When Browning discontinued them they also stopped supporting them. DON'T lose your magazine !! You will have a hard time finding another!
FWIW,

I don't have any immediate intentions for refinishing the stock but a proper finish would really make this little rifle look awesome. But I've too many 'irons in the fire' right now to consider it anytime soon.
Thanks for the heads up about parts scarcity.
