    New to me M1922

I picked this up for next to nothing. I know it isn't worth a lot after being D&T for the Fecker scope but it is still a historic rifle. Any info would be great. First post and thanks for any help.

Thank you. I'm currently looking for Lyman 48C to fill the gap.

trhalo, It is quite possible that your rifle came from Springfield Armory drilled and tapped for scope blocks. Those 1922M1 rifles that were made up for issue to DCM affiliated rifle clubs came drilled and tapped. They came in the NRA stock but many of those that remained in government inventory had the bolt replaced with the M2 type. Such rifles were also installed in an M2 stock. When the modification was made an additional I was stamped after the model number and an a B suffix was added to the serial number.
If you will post or email me the serial number of the rifle I will check it against my SRS data and may be able to provide more information about the history of the rifle. Lyman 48 sights show up frequently of the big internet auction and on the gun auctions. The sight you need will have an elevation scale numbered to 125.
