O.T. Need help from membership
As I join you in prayers for the Culvers I ask for your prayers for the family of Rev. Joel and especially his wife Charlene. I have known Rev. Joel and the work he has been doing for others and as close as friends that we have been, he had kept this situtation hidden within his family.
Charlene has a very painful spinal condition and has seen several doctors that say she has an inoperable condition. This Friday, she is being taken to another surgeon that feels there might be a solution but will not know until he examines her.
I ask for your prayers for Charlene, Rev. Joel and his children in their time of need. They have sacrificed and been there for so many others over the years in his ministry. I hope you will be generous with your personal prayers and ask that you mention this family to your prayer group or place of worship.
Thank you for reading this post, I thank you on behalf of Rev. Joel and his family.
John

I would like to thank John and all of the family here at CSP for the prayers offered for me and my family. We will let you good people know what the docs say as soon as we get back from Charleston tomorrow. Again, thanks and God bless you every one.

JohnM, I sent you the website of the neurosurgeon who "fixed" me. Please forward it the Rev. Joel. Maybe the information might help.

Doc gave us some good news. He believes a course of 2 or 3 Epidural Lumbar Cortisone injects may just give Charlene the relieve she so badly needs. Thanks for your prayers, it was indeed a good, no, a great day!

Rev. Joel
My wife suffered an upper back injury in an automobile accident years ago. At that time the epidural injections were experimental. After the injections she had no pain or discomfort al all, and I mean instantly. I realize lowe back can be a bigger problem than upper back but I hope the treatment works as well for your wife as it did for mine.

Rev. Joel,
I got cortisone injections for the cracked disks (L4-L5, L5-S1) I got in Iraq. They didn't hurt, but they did feel weird. You can only understand the feeling if you get it. They helped IMMENSELY! I hope your wife gets the same relief.
