Tell Me About Larry and Tommy Horner
I believe I recognize Larrys name from the early CC letters I've read. But don't recall much, but do know that Larry has passed away.
Did they have a shop, if so did they refurbish USGI carbines?
I received an Email from Tommy (Presumed the son ?) with some info I first need to clarify with him. But before reaching out to him I'd like to be better informed about them.
This could very well Shake Up some of the 'Collector Originals' out there.
Any and all help is very much appreciated.
Thank you,

I found some info about them here:
Firearms International
My interest is when Larry was doing his own thing Gunsmithing I believe as owner of Liberty Armory in Liberty, TX.
Before getting involved with any other business ventures.
I have a list of carbines from a collection sent to them for refurbishing/refinishing.
List includes CC data sheets on a couple 'Carbines of Interest'.
The main list dated spring of 97 has Fax work orders, maker, SN#'s, Barrels, Dates, If Import Stamped, Parts break downs, stock types and markings etc.
I plan to wait for a reply from Tommy to verify I have the information understood and in correct order before coming forward with it.
The Original Email was sent out to 4 or 5 of us. But I'm unaware if any one moved forward with the information in it.
He (Tommy) asked that it be made public and to feel free to share with anyone who might be interested.
I stumbled across it today while clearing out my Email inbox, it was from March 2019.
At this point I'm putting together a return Email to send to him, just stacking the deck
Might take a while but should expose a few 'Centerfold Carbines' that are not what they appear to be.
Good Weekend to you

Do you guys remember the video from a few years back where a seller had a shipment of carbines laid out on tables with tagged information on each of them? He was a husky guy (big arms) and quite the salesman. The video had close-ups of some of the carbines. I believe there might be a link to it somewhere here on the forum. Just thinking those carbines might have been part of Horner's collection. I bet Painter could search out a link to that video if anyone could.

Good Weekend to you
Made me look! Liberty is 40 miles down highway 90 from me. Currently, there's a "Texas Armory" in Liberty and a "Liberty Amory" in Bellaire (S. Houston). Either there was a move or name change since that 2013 post...

I just found the thread with a link to the other video - didn't try to see if it would play, but did notice it was by Classic Firearms.
