I'm looking at a 1863 Remington Zouave rifle and don't have a clue of what would be a fair offer to its' owner.
It is in very good condition, no visible cracks or rust. The only thing I noticed is that the 3 tier sight must have come off as it appears to be glued on by maybe Super Glue.
The rifle even has the extra nipple in the stock under the brass hinge plate.
Any response would be appreciated. Thanks.

If it is a shooter, then from $2000 upwards. And do NOT buy any Civil War stories. It may be known as the Model 1863, but it seems that it was all over by the time the "Zouaves" got to the troops!
