Thread: Exactly how was the jump case worn and what is the loop for? Any vintage pics?

    I found one more picture..
    The Trooper passing the Carbine carry case up in to the plane is the type I have with the rigger added extension sewn on it. See the case like yours in front, it has a 2 -15rd mag pouch attached up at the fold. Looking closely the case like yours sure looks like it is 'Strapped' just above the knee of the Trooper.

    You mean the carbine case above Charlie? It's not strapped to a leg...his left leg is forward as he walks. You see his pistol on his right hip.

    Looks like he secured the bottom strap about halfway up the barrel. Or perhaps was it cut off and rigged higher.
