Bit late with the reply here, John Swinfield was a premier researcher/Collector in Australia from the 50s on, Quality articles on Aussie colonial stuff, very thin on Lee Enfields but lots of stuff on Colts and Australian issue English made guns (1800s). Most of the articles were at one time published in the old issues of Australian Sporting Shooters Journal, but its all been put into one volume.
