what year was 1141172 made? one site says 1942 and another says january of 1943. which one?

I'm not a Garand collector, so I'm not sure which sources would be considered the most accurate ...

At ~75,000 rifles per month at this time, and if it was built Thursday, Dec. 31, 1942 or Monday, Jan. 4, 1943, does it really matter?

Acording to Scott Duff it's Jan 43. He's pretty clear about it too.
