M-6 Bayonets
Did all M-6 Bayonets for the M-14 rifle accepted by the government have the DAS marking?

Not 100% sure, but I believe Imperial and Aerial did for sure, Milpar and AN did not

In Response To: M6.....
My guess has always been that the DAS was discontinued circa 1965. My reasoning is that it appears on bayonets removed from packages dated as late as 1964, but I have never seen an M7 with the stamp and they began to be purchased in 1964-65. Also, those taken from 1967 and 1968 dated packages do not have the stamp.
The possible exception here is the M1917 bayonets by General Cutlery and Canadian Arsenal, both of which have the stamp and although I don't recall the contract dates for these, I think they may have been post 1965.
