    UN-Quality questions

Now that I think about it, I've never seen a UN-Quality so it's totally new to me. Would a UN-Quality in the serial number range 4458xxx likely have a undated winchester barrel? It apparently has a POQ front sight and S amd BQ rear sight(was told no stake marks), unmarked type 2 band, UN-Q op slide, QTX housing, type 2 LTQ hammer and blued EMQ flat bolt. I've only see a souple photos at this point and am going to ask for some more so does anything specific about this so far raise any flags?

typically Simpson's is way overpriced on their carbines, look at prices on all the rest they have then look at price on the Unquality, my guess its redone and they know it.

I agree about them being overpriced and did have the thought that they would have doubled the price if they knew it was not re-done. I was mainly curious about that winchester barrel.

I believe that "Quality" started using the T2 BB at about 4.2 million. Yours should be ok. As to the undated "W" barrel, they did use them on some early rifles, so on yours ? [never say never!] No flags so far.

    UN-Quality Carbine

I have one that I got off a customer that was a DCM gun. Couldn't find anything about it from the Carbine know it alls. They just wanted to buy it. I called Tony from Orion 7 and he asked me if the serial number started with
444-. I told him yes it did. He told me that he at that time had only seen two other Un-Quality carbines and that they are scarce. Frank Jr.

Thanks for all the input guys. I am still thinking about it just because I never hear of guys finding them and never se one around here. It would be nice to have even if a rebuild..as long as it's in good shape with correct parts.
