    Need Money?

Every state, territory or what have you, encluding Canadaicon has an unclaimed funds dept.,it's a mixture of old bank accts;unknown heirs, insurance co's.,you name it,pick your state, fill out search form and see whats up,also check any other state you've lived,or worked in or done business with large company in and so on,found $125 auto ins. rebate for brother-in-law,$9,000 in Stand. Oil stock(40's) for cousin, states can't try to locate each rightful owner,no budget for it,cost's a lot to do,if you are listed just print/fill out form and mail in,except for postage,it's absolutely free.

    Hey Ray:

    I found a bunch of family $$$$$$.

Didn't amount to a whole lot, but it was substantial (none of it was mine) and it's still family money!

    Now the paperwork starts!

    Thanks!

Found my daughter-in-law on the list,

My son and his wife owned real estate brokerage/dealer business in Indiana before selling out, moving to Nevada, only been there a year, found bank that owed her some escrow funds fees in California.
In the years I've been doing this I had come across some whopper size funds that were do to somebody,I've probably searched in every state in the U.S.,scrolled thru some accts. that were in the hundreds of thousands do on a claim, nobody I know though, the biggest was $686,000 in stocks/bonds and dividends, thats a lot of bucks, wish I could have had the means to find the owner, would have made them one happy camper.

    For our Canadian friends,

Haven't visited there for some time but just out that the site for Canadianicon govt. quit working, 404 Not Found is no longer working. Google has a bunch of sites for Canadian lost lost/unclaimed funds searches, just watch out as some are private and charge a fee.
canada unclaimed property - Google Search ,burning up too much band width here, unless I find something important to add,I quit posting on this thread.

    Unclaimed Funds, State of Texas

    RayP.,

Excuse my delay in getting a reply to you on my search for unclaimed funds in the State of Texas. I found a $3 award that the State Fair of Texas owes to me for a first place in a creative arts woodworking contest in 2005. It seems that they buggered up my address and their mail was returned "unknown". I will pursue it if it doesn't cost me over $3!

Some good news, I found two unclaimed accounts for my brother and I am helping him through the hoops. His unclaimed amout will be over $100. I begin to look at relatives I have in Arkansas, Tennessee, and Alabama and found a large nest egg for an 81 year old cousin in NE Arkansas. His amount will be in the $4,000 range. Needless to say, he is pleased with the prospects of getting this unclaimed property, but is really upset with a local bank for not making efforts to find him!

    Thanks again, RayP.
