A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Thumbs up

First - Dealer cost just went up to $399. Who ever is trying to sell one for $549 is trying to rip you off!
I just got 2 in for customers before the price increase - was $349. They look to be very well made - except for the plastik front sight, one was broken when we took it out of the box. I was impressed enuf that I ordered one for myself. Should be here any day now.
I charged the buyers $25. I don't think anything more than $75 profit is reasonable!!! In other words the gun you are asking about is $75 overpriced!!!

i bought mine last night for $420.00. i found several sites last night that had discussions on these from last spring. it seems early ones had problems. mine appears to be the later version without the 'welded in place' folding stock.

Mine looks like it's pined too because I can't see any welds on it. Now the $64.00 question is ?

Got mine today. Only took fedx 10 days - and 4 phone calls - to deliver it after they got it here in town. In addition they charged about $7 more than UPS would have. Guess that's why I never ship anything thru them.
Now all I have to do is dig out some ammo and go shoot it this weekend.
