I'm envious, as I'm way too far north to stop by to see the shop. I do visit the BDL website often and have made some smaller, non-firearm, purchases from him (so far) and can't say enough good things about Brian's service and willingness to answer questions.

I have bought some parts from Brian in the past. Even ordering parts you know you are getting quality, not some overhyped rusty or beat up mess. He is a great guy to deal with.

I am happy to recommend Brian also.
Just recently received back a Poole No.5 Mk1 bayonet that Brian had FTR'd. Properly phosphated and with the handle finished in Suncorite it looks ready for re-issue and is a perfect match for the my No.5 rifle.
Very pleased.
Thanks Brian!

+1
I have known Brian for about 20 years. I've bought a CNo4Mk1, a pair of T's, and a L42A1 from him over the years and have never been disappointed. Brian's a straight shooter.

I too have ordered parts from Brian at BDL and have nothing but good things to say for both Brian and his wife.
