    Ammo

I called the Sportsman's guide to check on a couple of things including some .357 Magnums they had on back order for me. Well the back ordered Remington 125 gr .357's I ordered last month has been pushed back from April 1 to May 18. Just on a whim I asked about Wolf 7.62x39, yep out of that too. I laughed and said I know you don't have any .30 Carbine. The sweet young lady on the phone said "the only .30 caliber we have in stock is .30 Luger, everything else is on backlog."

Right now I think if I see anything in a store that I need with a price that's only slightly exorbitant I'll snap it up.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Drove the wife about 50 miles to a cloth shop and we also visited the Wally World. Not a rd of pistol ammo of any type and very few in various rifle caliber's. We have recently had openend a "sporting goods" store. Prices are outrages such as $2.45 for run of the mill Remington and that is for a box of 50.

Went to the range today and some people must be rich. One shooter fired a a box of factory 45-70 ammo and dumped the cases! Picked up 18 ot the 20 cases so I'm not complaining

I don't know what the dealers are doing in your part of the country but here in RI the shops have ammo piled on the floor and all the reloading supplies you need.
I keep reading where everyone is having a hard time finding stuff and the shops here have all you want.
