    I removed this part from a Sherman tank that was going to the practice range many years ago.

    just an interesting part without much value.

    Is that a firing solenoid for a .30 cal 1919A4? Would be the Co-ax gun...

    Sherman tank m/g mount

    Your correct Jim, it goes on the mount to the main gun on the left side. Only important if your into restoring a Sh erman tank

    REME / RAEME / etc. types are not easily foiled.

    They travel with comprehensive toolboxes.

    There has to be at least ONE M4 in the US / Canadaicon that might need this part.
