    m-1 barrel help

    hi; from Athens ga I need to ask about my m1 my wife bought me years ago checking with gun store about it and have found out that it is a rock-ola but I don't understand about the barrel some tell me it is a inport on the barrel side says e sky Arlington va that I understand but on the top behind the site has um co. and the ordnance bomb 43 so any one can help with this will be great, and thanks for your time ray.

    The barrel was marked by Blue Sky as an import some time back. There have been problems with some of those barrels as they were hit so hard as to distort them out of round...worth a look to check.
