The pistol grip looks different on Colt 01 AR-15, at first I thought it was from the glass case but from a closer look - it is different ? Notice the area around the top left side of the grip, the shape is different - or is it from the photo in the case ?

Is it green finish furniture? The over paint job? And yes, it appears different.

Early charging handle and flash suppressor on the rifle, metal butt on the GAU...

I did install early parts and green furniture on a 2K Colt SP1 some years ago because I had the early parts. I was careful to save the original Colt SP1 parts. The early bolt catch and charging handle were the most difficult to locate - and are original partsAttachment 55662
