Remington 513T (US marked) Question
Hi,
I have a US marked Remington 513T .22LR. The barrel wobbles up and down a little, not enough to be a major bother but I'm not used to barrels wobbling on me and I just wanted to check with you guys. I realize that it's a free floating barrel, and you can slide a piece of paper under it - but was wondering if it's normal to have it wiggle a little and if there's a way I need to tighten it. Thanks!
Patrick

If is wiggling like as in something is loose, is never a good thing. If its is moving because direct pressure is being applied may mean the action needs a little bedding. Have it checked in any event-SDH

thats one of the problems with the Remington 500 type bolt action rifles.
they are only held in the stock with one screw.
check to see if the stock is cracked around that area, iv repaired many 513T,s with this issue.
everyone had a cracked stock in the area were the screw goes through the stock.
they dont fit very tight to begin with, so take that in mind.
