    What is this WW2 item for? SF Co 6-42?

    Found this in a junk box at a local flea market today. Anyone know what it is for?

    BAR tool case

    Looks like a BAR tool case to me, Here are two BAR combination tools, note the difference, there is also a third one that is different too. This tool would have been inside this case

    OK I'll buy that, but it LOOKED like the Clinometer case. Except maybe mine had a rear belt loop...

    Thanks for the info guys! I also picked up a real nice M1941 pack marked USMC Boyt 44 from the same seller. Its only the top part of the pack, but i am always happy to find any USMC marked gear. I will post some pics of it as well.

    certainly not a clinometer case as it doesn't look anything like mine and I have the clinometer as well.
